The process before you start working as a freelancer, do’s and don’ts, tactics to position yourself, stories, examples and personal advice from graphic designers around the world – Time Management and Getting Organized
From the organization of the workspace to the organization of time, place and agenda, which is formed by knowing oneself, 5 important steps and advice that can be done to facilitate time management, which is one of the most important steps of freelancing, and to make it an achievable skill.Lesson 2
– Self-Marketing
Getting to know yourself first and then introducing yourself by going through both personal and global examples – Finding / Selecting / Screening Customers
Information for freelance designers about finding and convincing clients and building a sustainable relationship. As you gain experience, the process of selecting and eliminating clients suitable for the designer’s time management and preferred branches; detailed and exemplified expression.- Building a Brand
Supported by personal examples, how was PK Design founded in addition to freelancing? Finding an idea for building a brand, the steps to be followed in its establishment, product production, follow-up and balancing freelance work and the brand.

INSTAGRAM : BRAND BUILDING THROUGH CASE STUDY

A 3-hour training on how to create and manage an Instagram account with examples from a brand with a wide range of products is waiting for you!

– How to analyze and build brand identity?

– How to create visual integrity?

– How to find the most appropriate language for the brand?

– Mistakes to avoid

In this training, we will create the Instagram strategy, language and visual integrity of a brand from scratch. By the end of the course, you will know what your strategy should be, whether you are creating an account from scratch or have just taken over an existing account.

Who are our trainers?

DENIZ BULUTSUZ

Deniz Bulutsuz, a graduate of Galatasaray University, French Language and Literature, has worked as a Special Projects Specialist for Vogue and GQ Magazines for 3 years and as the Social Media Editor of GQ Turkey for the last 2 years. Having studied Fashion Management at Istanbul Moda Academy, Deniz planned a career in the fashion and event sectors to establish the connection between the consumer, brand and digital media in the most sincere and accurate way. Deniz is currently the Projects Coordinator of a digital platform and printed publication called PART Mag, which they will build from scratch, and continues to work as a freelance Social Media Editor for different brands.

POLYN JEWELRY

Polin graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Graphic Design program in 2011. After returning to Istanbul, he worked at Ogilvy & Mather and later at İKSV, adapting to the pace of work in Turkey. Following these, he established his own studio in 2014 and started freelancing. Since then, he has been providing design services to local and global companies and brands such as Güçlü Kırtasiye, Tarko Kozmetik, Hacı Bekir, Assan Gayrimenkul, Keskin Color, İKSV, Epsilon Publishing House, BUGECE, Tepta Aydınlatma and Apple. In 2015, she turned her love for paper into a brand, which had always been her dream, and founded a stationery brand called PK Design.

DIDEM BOZ KAYA

Didem Boz Kaya holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and has over ten years of experience in Product Marketing Management. She started her corporate career at Turkcell and managed the marketing and branding processes of BiP, fizy, lifebox, BiP, fizy, lifebox and lifebox products. Her areas of expertise are brand management, product marketing and customer experience management.
Didem Boz Kaya has been working on performativity and corporate storytelling since 2015. She has been giving “Storytelling” trainings in many institutions such as Boğaziçi University, Yıldız Technical University, Doğuş University.
She works with entrepreneurs on storytelling and narrative coaching in investor presentations.
