Hackathon’24 was completed with final presentations to the jury. Organized with the cooperation of BTK Academy, Google Turkey and Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, Hackathon’24 was announced after the top three teams and the two teams that won the jury’s special award were presented to the jury. Participants will receive their awards at the Data Science Summit to be held at the ICTA Academy on December 24, 2024.
What is the Purpose of Hackathon 2024?
Various trainings on topics such as statistics, data science, data analysis, big data, machine learning, deep learning, python programming, web development, artificial intelligence, mobile development have been offered to all registered students through the BTK Academy online training portal
for a long time. We are realizing our software development competition application in cooperation with Google, Girvak and BTK Academy in order to give people who have previously completed the relevant trainings through BTK Academy and developed themselves the ability to practice all their theoretical knowledge. Throughout our competition, we aim to put all the knowledge you have learned in data science into practice and contribute to your experience by simulating the problems you may encounter in business life.
Our competition involves the development of applications (web, mobile, etc.) powered by Gemini (generative artificial intelligence). The theme and rules for the products were announced at the beginning of the live broadcast.
Hackathon 2024 Process:
-Participants logged in to www.btkakademi.gov.tr and applied to Hackathon
2024 via the link at the end of the page
– A live broadcast was held to explain the rules and concept of the competition
– Projects were submitted to BTK Academy with the shared form and participants had the chance to be in the top 10.
– After the final presentations, the top 3 teams/individuals and 2 jury special awards were announced.
