In the online Design Thinking training program, we will be both practicing the competencies we need and discussing what lies behind the success of Design Thinking.

Part 1
WHAT IS DESIGN THINKING AND WHY IS IT SO POPULAR?
|
The workshop will provide practical solutions to all problems with Design Thinking, one of today’s most popular concepts not only in the design world but also in many different sectors of professional life.
to produce. The first part of the workshop starts with raising awareness about the past and present of Design Thinking and how much space it occupies in our lives. Workshop participants, whether they are Professional Designers or not, learn the basic principles for solving many of life’s problems using design methods and experience a free and fluid sharing environment for overcoming barriers to innovation. |

Part 2
DESIGN THINKING PROCESS |
In the second part of the workshop, participants comprehend the 5 stages of Design Thinking through examples and answers to the why and how questions specific to each of them. |

Chapter 3
EMPATHIZE WITH THE PEOPLE YOU DESIGN FOR
|
In the third part of the workshop, participants begin to empathize with the problem and the experiences of those who live it, which is the first step in design thinking. |

Chapter 4
DEFINING YOUR DESIGN CHALLENGE
|
In the fourth part of the workshop, participants process the knowledge they have gathered about empathy and user experiences and begin to see the real causes of problems and the challenges they face in a broader perspective |

In the fifth part of the workshop, participants learn and practice some creative design techniques that can help them come up with multiple solutions to the problems they face. |

Chapter 6
PROTOTYPING AND TESTING

In the sixth and final part of the workshop, the participants try out all the ideas and designs they have developed with users through prototypes before putting them into real life to see if their solutions really work.
Throughout the workshop, all sections are transformed into a unique life experience for everyone, rather than just a workshop, with constant positive feedback in both a linear and non-linear flow. |

Who is Baris Atiker?
After graduating from Bilkent University Graphic Design Department (2000) with a special talent scholarship and High Honor degree, she completed her Graphic Design Master’s (2004) and Proficiency in Art (2009) thesis studies at Hacettepe University Institute of Social Sciences with the specialization of “Motion Graphic Design”. In addition to his academic studies, he has worked professionally as an art director in various design and production companies. Since 2001, as a freelance designer, he has carried out more than 150 international visual identity projects and his work has been awarded and included in the books of many publishing houses from abroad. He teaches “Motion Graphics”, “2D and 3D Animation”, “Interaction Design” and courses at a foundation university. She also gives workshops such as “Creative Leadership”, “Design Thinking”, “Work-Life Balance”, “Personal Branding”, “Storytelling” for corporate companies focused on managers and team leaders.
