Who is Burak Özdemir?

Av. Burak ÖZDEMİR practices in the areas of Personal Data Protection Law, Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Rights Law. After the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data entered into force, he personally took part in the compliance processes that started, delivered many projects and managed these processes. In addition, 100+ parties were involved in the negotiation process, primarily the private sector, the public sector and entrepreneurs. Burak Özdemir graduated from Başkent University Faculty of Economics in 2006 and Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Law in 2014. He also holds CIPP/E certification, which is recognized as the industry standard worldwide in the field of personal data protection under EU law, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification for information security. In order to specialize in negotiation processes, she completed the “Conflict Management” program given by UNITAR, the training arm of the United Nations. In addition to all these, since 2017, WorkUp İş Bankası has been working as a mentor and trainer in various entrepreneurship acceleration and development programs such as VISA Innovation Program, Coronathon Turkey, Bilgiyi Ticarileştirme Merkezi (BTM), Arya Women, Think BIGG. |
